It's a pretty fun game with a huge variety of animals to hunt. But compared to many of the other hunting games out there it is very good and worth the price paid for the entertainment you will get out of it. The other thing is the behavior of the animals if they are spooked. It does lack in the area of have true control of what you are going to in the game with it's scenarios and the first time I heard a moose bugle like an elk on the game I had to laugh. It also has a variety of tools, rifles, bows, etc to use.
The overall detail of graphics is very good, which is an area that many hunting games struggle with (the mule deer really look like mule deer). With that said I believe the makers of this game took that all into account and made a game that would fit what most people would want and give everyone a lot of what they like. Some think they're too long, not realistic enough, not enough action, limited in the kind of animals you can hunt, etc. There is no way to make everyone who plays these type of games happy. Overall I would say this is a very good hunting game.
